Pulsoid supports chest strap and armband monitors with BLE connection, Pulsoid also has native support for Apple Watch, Wear OS watches (such as Fossil watches, Samsung Watch 4, 5, and 6, Mobvoi TicWatch, and many more), and some Fitbit devices. Read more about monitors and learn about alternative solutions here. You need a mobile application for Android or iOS to collect heart rate data.
If you have any issues using the Pulsoid application, follow steps from this tutorial and, if nothing helps, email us: support@pulsoid.net
I can’t see my monitor on the list:
Check if your device is supported by Pulsoid for heart rate streaming.
Make sure the monitor is NOT paired in Bluetooth settings and is NOT used by another app.
Wet conductive pads of your chest belt device and put it on your body, as is recommended in the heart rate monitor manual.
Check if your location services are turned on and the application has permissions(Android only). The Android application asks you to allow access to your location. We do not use, collect, or read your location, Android makes us get permission to use BLE. Without this permission, the scanner won't be able to find BLE devices.
The monitor must have BLE support and be a chest strap or armband type. If you own a watch, check if it's supported by Pulsoid . Pulsoid has a native support for Apple Watch, Wear OS watches, and some Fitbit devices.
Your monitor has to have enough battery level.
To check if the monitor can be seen by other apps open the BLE scanner app(Android or iOS) and check if the monitor can be seen there. Try to connect and disconnect.
Reopen the Pulsoid app and try again
If the monitor is not visible in your phone's Bluetooth devices scanner, the issue might be with a monitor or the way you use it, as the Bluetooth signal is not sent.
Uninstall the Pulsoid app and try again
If you experience any issues report to support@pulsoid.net with the name of your phone model, heart rate monitor model, and description of the issue, screenshots are usually helpful too. Contact us in Discord to get support
I see the monitor in the list, but can’t connect:
Make sure your monitor is a chest strap and has Bluetooth Low Energy support. Anfroid app shows all BLE devices near you, not only supported, but can read a heart rate only if the device broadcasts it.
Check the battery level of your monitor.
Make sure the monitor has direct contact with the skin & is moisturized as the monitor's instruction describes.
Check if the monitor is not used by another mobile device or another application.
Check if locations services are turned on (for Android).
Turn off and turn on your Bluetooth
Reopen the Pulsoid app and try again
Uninstall Pulsoid app and try again (if you need to do it more than once - contact us support@pulsoid.net )

Heart Rate Monitor connects and disconnects often:
It usually happens because of the battery-saving settings of your phone or bad monitor visibility for the phone.
Check the battery level of your monitor
Check your phone Power Saving Settings. Some modes turn off external devices
We recommend using a well-charged phone.
Chest belt monitors need direct skin contact and wet conductive pads to measure heart rate.
Reopen the Pulsoid app and try again
Check if reconnects are visible on your stream. Sometimes the monitor can reconnect often, but the delay is about 0,5 secs and can’t be visible.
If the monitor disconnects each time the screen is locked AND battery-saving settings can’t be changed, you need to turn off sleep mode on your phone for the time of using the app. You can also try some app that keeps the screen awake ( If you have to use this, please let us know at support@pulsoid.net )
If you experience any issue report to support@pulsoid.net with the name of your phone model, heart rate monitor model and description of the issue, screenshots are usually helpful too.
The monitor is connected but I can’t see my heart rate on the website:
Check your internet connection
Check if you use the same account for web version and your phone
Try reloading the dashboard in a few minutes after the monitor was connected to the phone

Apple Watch or Wear OS stuck on 'Starting':
Check if you gave the watch app a permission to access a heart rate info when required
To fix this issue, you should go to your phone Settings -> Health -> Data access and Devices -> Pulsoid and grant the necessary permissions
Restart the app
If the issue still remains, try reinstalling the app and contact us in Discord
After issues are fixed:
Use a unique widget URL in OBS Browser Source
Activate BRO plan for advanced widgets and tools.
